Dearborn County is a county located in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of 2000, the population was 46,109. The county seat is Lawrenceburg. Dearborn County was formed in 1803. It was named for Dr. Henry Dearborn, an officer in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Dearborn was U.S. Secretary of War at the time the County was named.
